There is only one jingle Mark.....The rest is voiceover.

Jingles are sung.....voiceover or radio imaging sentences....script sentences are spoken.

You would refer to my spoken sentences as "jingles". That is what I mean by not understanding your emails!

I also want to make something real clear. I WOULD NEVER EVER BAD MOUTH ONE OF MY CLIENTS! The fact of the matter is your not one of my clients. I do have clients by the way anyone who takes the time to read my v123 page can see that I have worked professionally. I've sold, written and performed radio commercials for KZSP oldies radio station.

The fact of the matter is for you to be one of my clients you would have to pay me.

Oh and 1 last thing ,the first project was going to be for a net station but we found that it would cost to much to set up so and copyright laws etc. , I emailed you with a re submitted plan for the station which was
The project is a classic rock music station with no djs and is totally automated , at a start it will be running in a public house (pub) 24 hours a day and people who drink in it will hear your voice as the sound of the station, with rock music as well.
Im looking for a strong kind of voice or sung jingle package for the station, within a budget, this project is on going so will be using yourself on a weekly or monthly turnaround.
Its based near to Manchester in the uk, I have some scripts ideas myself but im open to offers from other people as well.
You tell me your rates for this type of job and we will go from there.

So the 6 pounds a jingle was pulled after a few days and I emailed everyone of this, and yourself included, to say our budget ideas were to low , but you never goy back to me on this again.

You did me one jingle I put echo on it to let you hear it , the reason I did not yuse your "jingle" was as the way you put yourself over the company jsut thought it was not worth it.

3 days to respond to emails and again we cant find anywhere where we said rock n roll , its a classic rock project not a rock n roll station I will include some jingles from voice overs we used can you or anyone who reads this tell me if you come up to this standard what we are using.

I know this is none of my business - or anyone else's besides the two of you - but I can't figure out something: did you (Mr. Jones) agree to hire Ms. Cedars for the work or not? The squabbling about whether the work was good enough or whether the levels were bad or anything else doesn't mean a hill of beans (or a baby's spilled dummy?!?) if there was some kind of agreement between you.

I'm not siding with anyone about it, just trying to be a neutral observer. I'm just saying that if you agreed to hire her and then backed out, I think she has a legitimate issue with you. Did you not get an audition from her and make a decision about how "bad" she was before you contacted her about doing the work? Were you not able to determine, immediately, whether her audition was up to your standards or not? 'Cause from the cheap seats, it sounds like she was under the impression you hired her for the job.

Carry on.

When you "smell a rat" always insist on getting paid BEFORE you record it! Usually, if the voice seeker is an advertising agency or you can look them up online by website or in a phone directory, they are going to pay you. If it is a big brand name, you're probably ok. If it's "jake in tulsa" (no slur on that fine town...) look out! Ask what their company name is. Ask for their website. Try to phone them back and see who answers and says what! If you phone back (have a legit question in mind!) and their kid or somebody else answers and doesn't sound like it is legit...run, don't walk. You have to be careful when working for online clients.

Hi
I hate to get involved in this but I have seen M"s web site, the night club where his radio show is broadcast in and I've seen the pub. He is authentic. I'm not posting his web address on here, that is up to him. I have been paid for all the work I've done for him and at a much higher rate in pounds sterling, not the 6 pounds mentioned .
This whole thing has just got way out of hand and is just a simple misunderstanding that should have been dealt with in private.

Just to hopefully end this now, at no time did i say i would hire her for her voice, i asked her to send me some audtion stuff with the scripts i had sent her and i wrote back to her asking for details of her work just details then she assumed mistakenly that I wanted to hire her. But with the mistakes I said thanks but no thanks but she sent me some more stuff and I had to write to her again , telling her that her work is not what we are looking for.

if she wants to contact me she can but im not going to say anything more on a public forum as everything has been said that has to be said.

Somewhere mistakes were made in contact but at no time did i want to hire deby for her voice , and the singing ones i would have liked her to work for me, but the way she has said things on here i just dont think its worth it im sorry to say.

Two things...

Firstly... we need better grammar, typing and english.

Secondly... this is why you should consider carefully whether you should even answer a $75 lead from anyone.

It's like when you have a puppy to give away to "a good home." Charge the person $100 so that you know the person is serious about wanting to care for the puppy.

Anyone who can't communicate and only offers $75 is not likely to ever pay the $75.

If I detect any lack of civility in a lead, or a ridiculously low price... I DELETE.

Hi Mark.....Here is some imaging stuff that has not been engineered.

I was also wondering what decades of Rock were going to be
played. I mean Rock and Roll does sound like 50's Rock. I mean will
there be Elvis along with the Led Zepplin? Do you consider Averil
Lavine rock? I'm just trying to come up with new jingle ideas and I
just need to know more about the product.
