Hi this is Mark Jones the founder and owner of classic rock radio in the uk , This is a reply to the comments made by one Deby Cedars ,

First regarding the issue of you saying that my emails were badly written, One that I sent to you (one) was written on a mobile phone and the reason for this was that it took you 4 to 5 days to respond the the email of asking for more info on your rates.

And to regarding to not getting the project off the ground, and having cash flow problems howdo you come to this ?? I would love to know????

I did send you some scripts and what I said was send me a couple of demos of your choice from the 2 pages of scripts not to send me demos for the 2 pages of scripts, and regarding this sexy american voice , I said this is what I was looking for the radio station, and no way did I inply to you that I thought you had a sexy voice etc.

Regarding the voiceovers you sent me back you did send me some of your imaging , but this was in mono and I told you could you redo it in stereo not 64k mono as 128 k stereo would be what I was looking for or an even higher bit ratio.

The backing music you used was funky and dancey and not for a rock station, on one script I said it was easy rock and ballads you missed the and ballads out and on the wording on some of the other scripts you got this wrong to.,

So I asked you to re submit your work with the right scripts etc, then you replied that your rent is due and that you need to pay it so would I pay you for the work that you have done so far, so I replied to you , that I dont pay people or the company does not pay some one when most off the work they submitted was wrong,

Then you submitted some more scripts where you sound like you are shouting on them and would be better off on an auditon for playboy.

When I did say also that I would pay you for work that was done correctly you said your paypal was not working yet.

At this point I said that it was best to leave it as you could not get the wording right for the scripts. And another thing you ask is will elvis be playing on the staion , when it was made clear to you that its a classic rock station not as you said on your script a classic rock and roll station.

Just to prove another point ...LTK91022249366X Rock Radio has got nothing to do with me my numbering is not this , and again deby got it wrong , if she had looked at the top of the job she would have seen the number was not the same , she did not see this correct and nor did she read the scripts correct either .

And now onto the subject of John M Thomas I would like to use your voice for the project so If you could please get in touch with me I hope we can work something out , but again I have nothing to do with the above mentioned number.even thou deby seems to think I have , the company for classic rock radio is based in manchester uk and is a professional comapny and we do not like some one making commennts they cant back up just because their work was wrong and got rejected.

We did use 4 voiceovers in the end each one got paid and were very professional in their work.

And just one thing we have no intentions whatsoever of using any of debys work,

Thank you for reading our reply

You sure did, Mark. You also helped in reminding talents of an important lesson in maintaining professionalism, especially with regard to client/customer relations posted on a public forum.

I wish I could post those emails on this site.....Your script said Rock and Roll I didn't make that up. Wow I guess I'll just have to miss out on that $75 job for both jingles and what you stated was 4 pages of imaging. It looked like 2 pages to me though. Ofcourse when I got the offer for 6 POUNDS PER JINGLE, I should have deleted it right there and then. I did learn my lesson. I will never submit for someone who bids that low again!

I would also like to say that professionalism works both ways.

And your right Mark I have no idea the number on that. It was deleted along time ago. I realize your in the UK, but I would also like to point out that your last email to me was sent on a National Holiday here called Labor Day.....(not that you would care)

So what is the web address of your internet Radio Station, Mark????

Here is the jingle that I never got paid for ......anyone else in the Rock Radio market????

Oh and before you bash the lyrics one more time, Mark. I just want you to realize that it is one of YOUR script sentences put to music.

Now can I get a bid for more than $12?

You said I missed out the ballads part of the script....I beg to differ. NOTICE THIS IS TIME STAMPED! I don't ask you to be nice, but I do ask you to be honest. We know this is just one example of how you are twisting the truth.

I've never done radio imaging before, and I'm sure Philip Banks could do it better......but then again you didn't like his engineering.

The last sentence about the Beach Boys and Van Halen was not in the script I just added it on.

"I've never done radio imaging before"

Here we go again, I wont name the people I used for the station but those jingles are poor thats all I can say, Again I will say this to you they sound like you are reading them, there is no flow to them , you sound like you are shouting, how could any radio station use those , they sound like an audtion for a playboy show where people can ring up and you can talk dirty to them,

When has ever the beach boys been on a classic rock station, one of those jingles was done by me the rest are your own scripts made up shouting no flow and stuttering with the words.

The sung jingle did not have any echo on it when you sent it, I added that to let you hear what it could sound like. I am not on about the sung jingles im on about the voice overs you did. and your friend who did the imaging, i said this was fine but its in mono thats all I said , and you cant use funky music for a rock station, I will post some of the finshed jingles on here soon to give you an idea of what we were looking for and why yours did not come nowhere near the grade.

No wonder you have not done any voice work who could use a voice where its up and down bad levels .

Bad mouthing a client is bad , this seems to be your first job you got rejected because of the voice overs you put on this site they are below standard, , I dont like to be like this but naming someone on a public forum is like a baby spilling its dummy, I have let a lot of people hear your demo people who work for the bbc and the national stations in the uk and they all said what the hell was that, its awful.

"I'm not on about the sung jingles you did I'm on about the voiceovers.."

And yet you refuse to pay anything for the jingles I did. If they were so bad why would you engineer an echo on it??? We could have renegotiated a price for the jingles alone.

Hundreds of people have read this thread and you don't even take the opportunity to market your internet radio station by posting the web address? WHY NOT?

Here is the jingle before Mark engineered it.
