So last Monday I got an email from my agency. I got booked for an on-camera gig without even having to go through an audition process or anything!

The gig was last Wednesday, an industrial shoot for Longs Drugs. They're updating their employee training video, so for an entire day I got to be Customer #4 in a vid demonstrating the wrong way and then the right way to deal with customers.

It was mostly waiting around while the crew set up the different shoots, and about 3 hours of actual work. And fun work it was! I got the chance to get to know some very cool people, both the crew and other actors, and the 'employee' I worked with and I nailed our scenes within the first 3 takes. Highly enjoyable film shoot, and they paid us, and took us out to lunch too.

Yesterday I was contacted privately by a company that advertised on Craigslist for a male voice gig several months ago. They want me to come to their studio early next week and record vocals for a series of Powerpoint presentations. They're just waiting on another voice talent to figure out when.

Two jobs in two weeks, gang. Nice additions to my resume and my pocketbook.
