| Got my third booking today since I joined in June. I wouldn't normally announce this but the quote details may help others in auditioning. Even though this project is for only about 12-15 lines non-broadcast, the suggested budget was quite a bit less than I was willing to do it for. I decided to audition anyway and quoted 72% above the suggested budget. Found out from the client that my quote was the highest but he gave it to me because he liked mine best. So stick to your guns and quote what you think the project is worth. You (and I) don't need to bother with clients that don't repect your talents. |

Way to strike a blow for pride, Dale.
And thanks for sharing the info. I hope the under-cutters take note.
(Your site demos, by the way, blew me away. I was fully halfway through your Variety before realizing there were neither f/x nor music. That's like singing a cappela, and still holding the audience. No wonder you're on a V123 roll!)
