Anyone remember the Golf Digest? A week or two after the aud I got a nice email saying I was the "top contender" and they'd get back to me. A New York agency... national radio and TV. I was thrilled. Session to be done July 9th. So... I hear nothing. I email a month or so later... "still on." Another month... nothing. One more time, same deal... "still on, thanks for keeping in touch." Here it is September... nothing.

Sometimes I think these people are just playing with me.

Sorry bout that Colin, that turned out to be me. It took them actually a couple of months to get the copy approved by the client, but I cut the spots last Monday, with a revision last night. Still not sure if it's where the client wants it.

I peeked back in on VSavvy this evening and caught this, so thought I'd let you know. Bread wasn't great to be honest, considering it was 2 TV and 3 radio, but I really only had to cut 2 bodies then a couple of wild lines. Took about a half hour, very easy producer to work for.

I'm sure your audition kicked rear, I was actually kinda surprised they went with me since I'm kinda not used to actually getting any gigs I audition for (!!) so it was a much-needed ego stroke and self-preservation kick. Thanks.

I thought I felt a ripple in the force. I always know when one of you guys bag one here. There's a strong twitching sensation...in my wallet!

Congrats, Chris!

My wallet tends to make that growling sound your stomach makes when you haven't eaten in a lo-o-o-o-ong time. ängstlich

Allen,

Way to go! Are you the voice of Watson's? Their TV commercials air in my market (Cincinnati) and your voice sounds dead on with that of their commercials.

Rob,

You have a good ear. Indeed, I am!

That's the hard-sell, retail side of my bag-o-tricks. I've partnered with that marketing company for nearly 15 years. They're a great client and they keep me pretty busy.

I do the same type of spots in other markets for Scioto Valley, Macksoods, Clover, Inside-Out, Leisure Depot, Litehouse and Patio Pleasures.

For those who don't know the spots, they're pretty loud and busy. But, they work!

Now quit throwing your shoe at the TV when I come on. Laughing

This is the :30, just received in the email today from the production house. Tried not to hit it so hard, they must've heard something (anything?........Todd R reference there)

Am also working on a gig from an olllld V123 lead from earlier this year, it was audiobooks for "worldofmusic" aka Schtung Media, I finished one last week and have another coming any sec in the email, they put me on the roster for semi-regular work for US and Asia, where they have studios (they must be legit as I Googled them today and saw that part of the work on the restored Who "The Kids Are Alright" DVD was done there, so there's got to be quite a bit of legitimacy there....)

Thanks.
