Naslot,
I'm a web designer (see: www.spasticlizard.com) and your site just takes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long to load. I tried visiting it from my p/t radio job where we're on ISDN and it took so long to load I finally gave up and bailed out. Please talk to your web designer about compressing your files so that the site loads quickly.
Best Wishes! |

Bonjour Naslot:

Robert.... you are SUCH a shmoooze! For the rest of us who aren't as cunningly linguistic as Robert (oooch! ouch!), here's what he said, courtesy of Google translation:
Hello Naslot: I agree completely with Scott. I cannot imagine that a customer will spend the minutes while waiting for that your site takes care. Neamoins, the introduction is fantastic, and I have hate has to see the site…. I excuse myself for the lack of accents in this text… my keyboard is not has measurement. I also excuse myself for my French… my brains is not has measurement. Good luck and welcome in Voice 123.

Although it did take a bit to load, I didn't have the experience Scott did. VERY cool site - but I might add an option to skip the intro.
good luck on V123! |

Scott:
En francais: vous etes une monstre avec le talent d'une escargot et le charactere d'une pierre.
Paa norsk: du er klok some en spiker, og ligner bak-siden paa en hest.
In english: you are a heroic human being with great knowledge and great humour; and someday I should very much like to share your wisdom, wit and a few cold ones. I am honoured that you properly take all my voice work with your exceptional voice talents. I am not worthy to dust your popper-stopper.
Honest.

Welcome to the new suck-up forum! LOL!
I went back just now here at home on my slower DSL and was able to get into the site. I agree with Todd, though, that it needs an option to bypass the intro. Once I FINALLY got into it I was blown away by the Flash, but found the text so incredibly tiny that there's no way I could read it without changing the text option on my browser.
Robert: next drink's on me, buddy. |

Naslot -
Really nice site! Took about 10 seconds to load for me in the U.S., so I guess a lot depends on how your visitors are connecting to your site.
I'm not sure I understand the theme (though I don't speak much French), and while there's certainly no rule that says your site has to be decorated with all-things-voiceover I think it would help your visitors make more of connection - it "brands" you in a way.
Again, I don't speak much French so perhaps your site's theme is quite appropos to your goals with it - and in general I think it's a cool site. |

Hello Naslot,
Really like the flash, but I have to agree with the rest, it is too heavy and it takes quite a bit to load. Unfortunately we are really used to fast interfaces and a slow beginning may turn visitors away from your site.
Besides that, I liked it. |
