Well done, Ron.

And now you can say you work with both a phone patch and an eye patch.

Nice booty!

Avast On!

Congrats Ron!

Very Piratey! Just one question... How did you get that parrot poop off your shoulder?

Congrats, Ron! Great to see a new name on the "Got the Gig" list here!

I wonder... is it at all possible, though, to do a pirate any OTHER way than with a snarly voice, preceded by an "Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!"?

Wink

I love the pirate accent... you did a great job with it!!

I have a feeling Victor's asking his question b/c... well maybe he isn't asking b/c of this, but I heard a lot of popped p's and just bad sound on the mic.

Caryn, you are correct. That must have been his audition. At least I hope so!

Caryn and Victor - are you talking about me or Ron? - or us both. My track was a demo and I think my pirate voice is pretty fine myself - there are a few 'pops' on that track though.

Simon, your read was great - the technical quality was not.

In addition to the plosives, of which there were many, it was too hot. Backing off the mic a tad bit might help with both those issues.
