Hi, yesterday Nintendo released a new game called Carnival Games for their Wii system. I got the voice over job for the main character of the Carnival Barker. I've attacdhed a shot of the game cover. (that's my character in the derby!) If anybody has the Wii system and gets the game let me know how I did. They sent me the game but I don't have the system! It was a helluva lot of work but it was fun to do and paid well too.

Congratulations, Charlie. I auditioned for that same character back in April. It was a private lead. The barker on the cover looks a little friendlier than the one in the picture Kyle sent me for reference. I'd be interested to hear your demo.

Good for you Charlie. I used to play a game called everquest. I was half human and half elf and my job was being an enchantress. It was rather silly, but very addictive. My character would cast a spell and then have to meditate to recharge her batteries. I loved the costume she wore though.
Very Happy

Scott- you're funny Smile

That's awesome Charlie- congrats! While I do have a game coming out at some point, I can't say what it is (although it ain't exactly a stretch t' figure out).

I really want to get a Wii. Having played one before the major release (a friend with some good connections)- I've been hooked!

Now, if only a store around here could hang onto one! I'd love to play your new game Charlie!

My son had been wanting a Wii for quite a while after they came out. Of course we kept looking and looking and looking. One day we wander into Target and my son said, "Let's see if they have any Wiis". Yeah, right. Turns out that someone had just returned one to the store about an hour earlier. Somehow or another two different family members had gotten them as a present for one of the kids, so they'd returned one, unopened. Of course we snagged it (it was a birthday present for my son). The graphics are sub-par, but man the games are a blast!
