Actually Scott... it was a French accent! And they asked me to deliberately tone down the accent so that it was barely perceptible on the 2nd read.. so you're right - I did stray... deliberately! Very Happy

Hmm... that blanket comment sounds awfully familiar... Grandpappy? Jeez Scott, he's not that old! LOL

Congrats on the gig btw! Well done!

Outstanding stuff, Brad; glad you're posting some lately, since I'd kind'a forgotten how skilled a voice actor you are.

The Jobs was a dead-on, enthusiastically-nerdy podium presenter, and the Drug-Test displayed astonishing range. You do us proud.

And - of course - fuzzily warm and comfortable, Gramps Wilkins.

T'was fine, fine Sunday morning listening.

Wow On!

That script and your read made coupon cutting sound like and exciting adventure. As someone who cuts coupons I've always thought of it as a mundane borring chore that I have to do in order to save 10 cents on box of herbal tea.......Great job....and I image your cheaper than William Shatner. lol Very Happy

Brad - The stoner characterization was excellent - sounded a bit older than high school to me - but super job on the voicing! The background was a bit distracting - - I know you were going for a school hall - but seems too much "public space" activity for their "in confidence" conversation to each other - mentally pulling me away from your very good interpretation of "their scene."

RE- Fluent - Excellent and believable read on Jobs... Just the right enthusiasm - Echo is very tricky to do though - making you sound in an empty hall vs a full auditorium - try cutting the echo back by 50% and add a little pre-delay to the wet mix if your plug-in has that capability.

Both - excellent reads Brad. Very Happy

Robert, Colin, Thom...thank you. Coming from you guys, that makes me feel like I've done a really good job.

Too bad that they've already given the Jobs deal to Scott. Oh well. Couldn't have been given to a nicer or more talented guy. Smile

You all see that usually I give nothing but dry reads, but considering that I produce stuff rarely makes me feel even better about how I did. I should've enveloped the hallway back a bit more, and I should've tweaked the Jobs read a little more...I just threw in a full auditorium preset and went with it, since I only have an hour to finish once I decide to do it. Although the Jobs think was a first take.

Thank you all again.

Colin, those were very good. Not pitiful. I'm the one not getting work...Razz Keep plugging!

Anybody get this one? Client looking to record character voices to play at some boring economic seminar. Bush and Schwartzenneger were a couple requested. There was no script. I game 'em a try.
