i was planning on buying 4-6 of these to "wallpaper my sound booth. is this a decent "low-budget" solution? (i was looking at the 4-inch size)

P.S. this is for my walk-in closet which i will be turning into my sound booth

Just keep the closet full of clothes -- that will probably work better than the bed pads Wink

I know people use these to cut down on reflections, but I don't see how they could work very well. They're not dense enough, I think. And at $29 per pad you're getting into the range of acoustic foam. Granted the bed pads are larger, but if you're gonna spend the money, you might as well do acoustic foam. And you don't have to go wall-to-wall with it. A walk in closet should-be fairly dead to begin with, so a few panels on the walls and door (plus a carpet remnant on the floor) should do it I think.
