Well said Allison,

I think seekers put an unnecessary amount of pressure on talent when they say things like that. I think it's important to at least research a company (if they reveal who they are) or look into the style of the lead. I have had a few which actually include a link to their website or "we are looking for a voice similar to this" with a link to a video or audio file; it helps then to know that I am or am not what they are after.

Adam

Up until AssCrack, I was getting between 5 and 10 leads a day - most of which were in the $249.00 range. This, I thought, was worth the amount of time it took to cook an audition.

The revelation was in finding that 85-90% of them weren't even being opened!

Now, with AssCrack, I get fewer leads - most of which are utterly unsuitable - and the ones I do crank out are still not being opened with much better regularity.

I may have to consider working for a living!

It takes time to click on a project description and read the specs and scroll on down to see the PRICE...so why doesn't Voice123 put the PRICE on the opening page...and besides, they are supposedly going to not send auditions to people who have higher price restrictions (like me) on what they audition for. But still, just tonight, I got several $100 job projects and one that was $50!!!! So what gives? I'll write 123 tonight about this and why don't ya'lall do the same if you want to...give us the price up front so we can just check those little boxes and delete them all with one finger click!!!
