I was wondering if anyone would listen to my demo and let me know, what should be fixed. But keep in mind, I'm 16 with no job, a mic that was 3$'s and windows recorder. I am trying to get into anime mostly but anything will work for me.
(warning, may need to turn up volume)

Canaan:
First, I lent and ear; now I lend advice:
You just sat down and voice-fiddled here, didn't you? There just doesn't seem to be a flow to it. I mean, your voice is fine enough and the quality of the recording is pretty darn good considering what you're working with, but all in all it sounds like a bit of a lark.
It's supposed to be fun, but you have to have rhythm to it all. I suggest you not try to smear all the clips together like that, hopping vocally back and forth. Instead, settle on, let's say, three different voices and give them each a bit of a 6-7 second run. Then close 'er up with your nice, sincere little thank-you there.
In other words, it's a bit of a jumble right now.
And maybe add a little muted background music to compensate for the quality of your tools.
Go get 'em, guy....

Forgive me if I'm short with all my messages I just like getting to the point quicker. But yes thank you for taking time out to listen.

Hey Canaan,

First of all, GREAT name! Man, I like your first name. How cool.

Okay here's the hard and fast of it: You have potential. As you said, you're 16 with a $3 mike. With quite a bit of training, some time and hard work you could probably do pretty well. But right now you're at the very, very beginning of this whole thing. And that's okay because that's where we ALL started, only you're getting an earlier start in it than most of us, which is to your advantage.

Your demo really isn't a demo. It's just having fun doing voices. Don't even WORRY about having a demo yet. See if you can't get into a class or two, try to intern somewhere where you can begin to work with real scripts, such as at a radio station or audio or video production house, and gain experience as you slowly gather the elements to produce a bona fide demo.

You're up against pros who have YEARS of experience on you, but do NOT let that discourage you. Again, you do have talent, but right now it's raw, untrained talent. If you're willing to learn, and work hard, and train, you can do something with this.

Invest your time in working or training somewhere, invest your time and money in a class or two, and then invest your money in some good equipment, but do that last.

I wish you well and I expect to hear good things from you down the road.

Very best to you, my friend

Thanks for the info dude, I've got nothing around this one leg town to get me into anything like that. So I'm gonna be visiting my sister who lives in a city full of that stuff.

Hey Canaan,

You definitely have the ability to mimic character voices. Now, think of a way you can use some of those sounds you produced, and make some of your own characters. You have potential. Check out Your Act Tv in Decatur, GA. I took some classses with them a while back, and they are reasonably priced. Best to you.
