Oh my my..... I laughed, I cried. I was awed. I will be up all night listening again and again. That is the best few minutes I've had in years. I need a another beverage so I can sit and relisten over and over.
THANK YOU THOM! THANK YOU!
I am not worthy.

How long did that take you? I know something about production so I know it took some time.

My god.... I gotta get up and walk around. Be back after a bit.

Lawdy, lawdy, lawdy, Thom.

That was bountiful, joyful, earfully delightful. I hereby knight you Sir Thom...Baron of VOS, Holder and Defender of the Sid Whatley Baton of Vocal Wizardy, Scion of Sound.

We bow and prostrate ourselves before you.

Great, great, great stuff.

Thank you for demonstrating again what marvels our mics and voices and imaginations can create.

Not to let grass grow under my feet... I did do auditions tonight after briefly considering a night off. Unfortunately, it was "slim pickin's."

OK, Birthday Boy...I'll play with you.
Be warned, though, I may have out-warmed you.

Nice job boys.

Hey Robert, did things get a bit noisier in your studio? Your recordings are usually a bit cleaner.

Robert, sounds like your software "gating" is gone. That's fine but now you have background noise.

MAN, I AM OUT OF SCRIPTS. I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS.

Erik, Colin..thanks, and you're right, of course.
Been lazy today, and recorded with PS2 and aquarium pumps running. Recorded at low volume, too, and then brought everything (including noise) up with the Compression.

It violates the Amy Snively Don't Suck rule, I know, but I did mention in my comments that any final would be studio recorded.

With school out, it's harder to find solitude, although only losers make excuses. Winners make gigs.

I'll smarten up.

Lambaste On!

I dunno... maybe I'm just not picky enough. I thought Robert's guppies sounded fine - 'specially the compressed ones that were screeching. Smile

Day-um! It's a party here and I arrived late!

(three doritos and half a bottle of miller left - sheesh...)

Great job on Colin's birthday Robert and Thom - stellar work.

Love it love it love it!

Gotta come back for mine (late April, I'll send out hourly notices when it gets close),
Joe

Here are a few I've done over the last several days. As usual, I'm always impressed by the caliber of talent here at V123--keeps one humble...

I've done quite a bit lately for the Atlanta radio station where I do p/t work and had to do the voice of an elderly husband whose wife has slowly become addicted to alcohol and anti-depressants. A producer at the station just called me to complement me on it and said to be sure to save it for my archives. So what the heck... here's something a bit different; just the raw, unmixed bit. But it's the kind of stuff I love doing.

ADDED: Was playing around just now and added a dash of 'verb and some mux............

Nicely done Scott!

i must admit, I did giggle a bit when I noticed the name of the file. Wink Oh, I'm so bad Embarassed

David... I liked those! You kind of swallowed the end of "hundred" on the first clip and there was a little mouth stickiness too. Were you born in the New England area? The New Yorker accent came really close to a JFK to me. Loved your tone, very warm Smile
