I'll join you boys in Sugarland...three really different perspectives on it, methinks.
And you've obviously got me by the twangs on the accent.
I don't think I've ever seen as dry a week (script-wise, not Moosehead-wise) in eons.
Voice On!

| Good Sugarland reads Gents, but I believe that for this particular copy Thom takes the gold.

Oh man, Erik...Thom already has more gold than Fort Knox.
He's voiceover Bling.
Great copy, huh? "Health care on your time; not ours."
Bit of a head-scratcher, that? Did Chuck write it? But it certainly resounds with me.
Whine On!

Hey Kathleen! Glad you posted the mommy one, I did it too, the copy was tough! Frankly, I don't know a 20 something mom that would talk like that. Now, an older mom - maybe - but I don't think the copy writer was ever a mom - and maybe not even ever a female, LOL. So here's my take. I did the first section one way (confident but annoyed), the second, another (frazzled and annoyed) - since the details were so sketchy. Maybe they don't know what they really want either.
Say, I've been meaning to say how much I like your avitar! Can your avitar have a play date with my avatar? (And is that you - or one of your kids when she was little?)

That, Sir, was a radio-ready and extremely solid Headhunters. I especially noticed and appreciated an understated shout to the whole thing: sort of a very subtle in-your-face delivery, if that's possible. Rare...and outstanding!
Joe - as usual - championed the dialect thing but, on an energy front, I'm still in the Scofeld camp on this one.
Voiced ON! |
Thank you Robert! I shall take my bow now I appreciate all the comments from everyone. Yes, I am from the South...not hard to
hear is it? Heh heh...I do enjoy those type spots. If I'd had some Headhunter tracks...it would've been a :60 for sure!
