Sorry. I wasn't sure where to stick this one, so if this is the wrong place, could the moderators please move it? Thanks.

Hey guys!

With all this talk about branding and not using mics, my husband and I decided to come up with a new design, especially as I am finally getting demos done soon. This is what we've come up with. I really like it, but we'd love to get more opinions. The front page is the only thing done right now.

v3 of MichelleAnn.com

Thanks in advance for taking the time to check it out. I really appreciate it.

It's simple and attractive. Nice home page.

Very nice. Here's an idea. I don't know how many demos you have, but if you can place them right on that first page, thats the way to do it. Maybe in some other bubbles without getting to clutered.

Yes, people are to lazy to even press the demo button to go to another page. I know, cause I have the stats to prove it. Once I put them on the first page, they got a lot more plays.

Very stylish. I agree with Vic on trying to get the demos on the index page. Also, the text in the bubbles is a little tough to see. You can darken it up while still leaving it basically white to lend some contrast.

The shoe is very memorable.

Michelle, what's the point of the shoe? Just asking. I'm a professional web designer ( www.spasticlizard.com ) so I ask because I'm wondering what the tie-in to your voice work there is. Granted it's nice NOT to see a mic on it, but just curious about why a shoe? I agree with George, darken the text to make it more readable. Other than that I like how clean and simple it is. Nice, easy colors, too.

Thanks everyone for your comments. My husband really appreciates the feedback.

We were going for "cute, bubbly, fun, with a touch of sexy" Smile The shoe is cute, fun and sexy. Smile At least, that's the idea.

I agree on the text darkening. We're also working on figuring out how we want to incorporate the demos on the main page. Thanks for the tip on that one, Victor and George! Smile

I like it!! I agree with all the comments too. Darken it up a tad, and put links to the demos on the home page.

I'd also put your contact info on the home page somewhere... don't make 'em click to find out how to reach you.

Nice!!

i like it - it's fun. i agree about the text - maybe a drop shadow - or a layer of black text underneath nudged out just a bit.

with the shoe - the 1st thing i thought of was "the voice that fits" - or words to that effect.

I like the feel, it's a good balance between professional and sexy.
I like the others feel you should darken it up a tad..make things easier to see while including your contact info and demo reels.

Now...if your hubby knows flash you could jazz it up slightly by making the bubbles move when somebody moves the cursor over them - also maybe a bloop sound. It's a simple addition that give your site a little punch. I allways like site with a little flash...those attract me more than just a standard point and click.

my 2 cents.

I'm with Vic on this one. I'd put your demos in the bubbles right there on the front page.

As far as "contact," I'd put your phone number and a link to your email address under the bottom of the rainbow lines. Those should go on all the pages. Make it super simple for them to call you!

I LOVE the shoe graphic. The only thing is that the shoe and your name are both a bit too close to the left-hand side of the rainbow frame. Move everything over so it's not crowded--use your negative space!

You've got three different colors of blue going on in here: the lines in the rainbow frame/bubble, the shoe, and your name. Choose one or two shades and stick with those.

Good stuff! Smile

Thanks for the input. We're working on fixing it up right now to incorporate demos on the main page, contact information and fixing it up a little bit. I'll put up a link to the new version as soon as its done.

Thank you guys so much. I really appreciate the feedback.
