Hello everyone!
I'm the new kid in town and just thought I'd drop by and say hi! I hope some of the more seasoned V123 users can give me some pointers and kind of "show me the ropes" as they say.
I'm not new to voice overs but I am new to your site. A good friend of mine recommended this site to me and so far, I've answered 34 leads in about 3 days. It's been a lot of fun. I can't think of anything else in the world that I'd rather do.
If anyone has any tips or heads-up kind of stuff to tell me, please feel free. I'm always open to any sort of help/suggestions.
So far, I love this site. It's so easy to use. Also, I've been reading these forums and everyone seems very cordial and kind, especially to newcomers. That's a good thing when you're one of "us."
Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to contribute!!!

You can really learn a lot here. Start by reading through all the old threads. then just jump right in and enjoy the fun.

Come on in, sit down, kick back, put your feet up, have some coffee, and hang out with us a while, Nikki. Glad to have ya aboard.
I just joined the site in February. And because I had worked in radio since 1988, and had been praised for my voice so much, I came in here feeling like I was all that and a bag of chips. But after hanging out on this board, I soon realized I was as green as a tomato sprout.
You'll love it here. As I've said before, its like getting free singing lessons from Celine Dion. You can't beat it. If you're not all that and bag of chips either, you will be soon after listening to these folks for a few weeks!  |

Wow! Thanks for all of the welcomes, guys! (And gals!) I'm very happy and I feel priveleged to be here.
I'm sure this forum will bring me a wealth of information. I've looked over several peoples' profiles and I heard some really awesome demos. I think I'm becoming addicted to this site! |
