Deby,

I am currently working on my image and have hired an artist to begin creation of my main logo. I know there is more work to be done then just this. My main work after completing my recordings throughout the day is focused around imaging for probably the next 3 months. Even after that time, I'll have to keep it on my mind forever.

To find my artist, I created a project at one of my freelance sites and opened the project up for bid based on my idea so I can see samples and enjoy some feedback on the best way to tackle the art. I chose one artist for my logo already, and may or may not use the same design company for website and additional art. Heck, I may buy the logo and keep shopping if it doesn't suit me.

Have you considered posting a project on Guru.com or Elance.com requesting consultation and art?

There are some artists on logobogo.com...you can look there also.

I would be happy to offer you the name of the talent and company I selected, however, I feel that it may be better to select based on your idea matching the artist's niche.

Some ideas to get your brainstorming started and continuing for Imaging:

Get a clean notebook and write out:

    Your full name
    Any nick names
Single words to describe your personality
Single words that others say about your personality
Vanity/pride/bragging points (remember when you were dating?)
Important things in life (Ex: family, church, healthy living, friends) but be specific!
Dream gigs and companies you love to work with or want to work with.
    Favorite songs you sang
Favorite productions in which you performed.

The trick is to get "into" the fabric of "who" Deby is...

Read your Diary, posts on your favorite forums and other letters and writings you have to help get into who you are....

Then come up with some ideas for size and create away!

If you have trouble, there are consultants to help create from brainstorming sessions.

I hope this helps a little.

Kat

To Simon Over the Top of the Hill:

I've missed your youthful zaniness around here. That cover is YOU, and your Image!

Love it!

I've often wanted to break out of my "fall leaf" thing, but I seriously have no idea where else to take it. Plus, I might just be trying to screw with a good thing...

I'm using one logo to represent my voiceprint now. What does this say about my delivery? It's working very well. You can find just about anything you're looking for at www.dreamstime.com. Not expensive.

I used to have a pair of boots like that. I wore them in a movie called Puro Tejano. My character was in a tejano dance contest. Along with her best friend. Her best friend wins the contest because she starts tap dancing in the middle when she forgets the steps. It was really funny. Very Happy
