Joe,

I like what you've done with the "News Ticker" section very much, but that font isn't suited for scrolling text. I think you need something cleaner. I would definitely use corporate logos in that section, but mix it up with pictures too. For example, the Chicago Joe's blurb could use a photo of their restaurant (with permission). The Exxon logo looks a bit ragged, however.

As for a general page which lists clients as well as their logos, I'd pass on that. I think a client list is good (they should be used to highlight a level of professionalism) but including their logos is overkill. If people don't recognize the client names without the logos, they're either stoooopid or can't read English, and you don't want them attempting to cut checks for you anyhow. I suppose that if you happen to have clients with gorgeous logos it's worth it to want to include them.

On my site, I try to emphasize the client ftp login over the client list: I want the client that visits my site to feel like they're my only client as much as possible.

Ultimately, this is what is most important with a website:
1.) Can people find you? / Do you have effective search engine optimization?
2.) Can people connect with you once they find you?
3.) Do people get a sense about what you're all about?

Everything else is fluff.

Thanks much for all the advice guys.

I've incorporated some logos into my News Ticker and News Page, but opted out of a "Page Of Logos" approach.

Please join me over on Julie's forum, as I will no longer be frequenting this one...

Here's the site address for Julie's forum:

Hope to see you there,
