Hey there... just wanted to give a bright hello to everyone around Savvy. Just sined up to Voice123 and look forward to getting some some experience and advice from you fine folks around here.
Been interested in using my voice commercially for a while now. Have had my own podcast on technology, and even brought in some decent audio equipment around that. Decided to take the plunge and attended an introduction voice course through VoiceSpot WCS. Got to know some good people, and introduced to a sound studio around here, which is nice because they were great to call on for one of my video productions.
I work with Macs and have a Tascam US-144 audio interface. My mic is a Studio Projects C1, which to this point, I've found it to be an excellent microphone. Just need to work on my mic use a bit more, and get some Auralex going.

I've never heard a telephone greeting like that! 
Get your variety demo or commercial demo or narration demo etc.., out there on your site so we can listen to the talents that you bring to the world of voiceover

Hehehe... I had some fun with that. I had thought of doing it for a while then took the time to script something clever. Took a bit to convince my wife to put it on the answering machine though...

That is definitely going to be a priority very soon. I have a few other things that I had put on my site at http://www.chrisheier.com. I'm also in the process of putting together some material to read and get produced in a professional demo as well.
Really itching to get a sweet sounding demo out. Also going to look into some voice coaching as well in the next few months once I get settled down in my new home. Have a few issues with the way I talk sometimes that gets on my nerves sometimes.
Thanks for the greets guys... oh, and John, Luongo is pretty much holding up that Canucks team...
Doesn't mean I'm not hoping they make it to the finals though...
