Deby - Well I suppose some people use them interchangeably - A "Station" will spec a page of Tags - really bumpers/ IDs/ Stingers/ Sweepers/Donuts... But for me - a Tag is usually at the beginning or end of a clip as an update to the info of the clip, (Like a 30 sec spot with 10 Tags of different phone numbers for regional play, or a station ID with 5 Tags - for different DJs...) a bumper/sweeper bridges two songs, or a song and a commercial break... in radio at least... But you need to take the meaning in context of the requestor - to figure it out. The copy tells you what it is, usually... Wink A clip with vo/FX Tags on the front/end and a hole in the middle is a donut, A Tag in the middle of a clip with space on both ends (usually with FX/Music bed) is also a donut - although - it should be a donut hole, or perhaps a "Bagel Bite." Very Happy

Thanks! I quip that's the only reason I married my husband was for his last name. Not true, of course!

It's a far cry better than my maiden name of "Slovenski" -- Caryn Slovenski just doesn't have the same kind of presence. Smile

Wonderful place to live. We've been here 25 years. Cold and rainy today, snow in the forcast tonight. Maybe a couple of inches.

Again,

Welcome Thom!
