Robert... so as not to cheat you out of a review since you have the 'honor' of having the last demo posted on the previous week's thread, I'm listening to your 'millions and millions' as I type. This is a good fit for you. Maybe one of the best I've heard from you. Your somber approach is really appropriate for what they were looking for, and I heard almost none of the accent that we often hear on your reads. VERY well done. Kudos.

Robert your read on the 'millions' script litterally gave me chills...wow!

Lisa, I wasn't going to do the awards script but since I don't speak Hawwaiin, Thai, Spanish or have an Italian accent, the pickings have been pretty slim...here's my attempt...after I sent it I realized the word Energetic was in the directions..I think I missed the boat...Marilyn

Robert,

That was indeed a great read. You are the Voice of the Day. At least for me.

Here's one from this morning from the 'other' site. They wanted a voice to emulate this spot for BMW:

And here's my take. I'm not trying to impersonate the guy; merely capture the mood.

Marilyn....

I'm not wild about your slate. Sounds kind of.... well.... weak.

And that's a tough demo to critique since it's so short. You kind of reverted back to your smiley bouncy voice, but something like that, where you're introducing award winners, almost requires a borderline phoney prototypical read. So in this instance, it may work well.

Marily....when I saw that I lead, I thought..."oh THIS should be easy." It really wasn't. I wasn't sure what to do with it....Hard sell? a Don LaFontain power delivery? Sexy & Sultry? Like I said...I did several takes, and nothing sounded "right" to me.

I saw that listing and thought yet again, "well if they want THAT GUY why don't they hire THAT GUY."

Scott, you did an excellent job on this read and you really captured the essence of the original spot, especially in the beginning. You lost a little of the flavor towards the end of your read but I only noticed that after listening a couple times. And that may not be you at all, the copy doesn't really fit the flow in that section.

Thanks for sharing.
