Hi everyone - I've been a member of V123 since last year, but just discovered this forum - I am delighted to be a member of such a savvy, talented "club"! Been in the broadcast industry for over 15 years and last year decided to make the jump to focus more on v/o work. Setting up my studio last year has been a headache, but veddy, veddy educational! Hope to meet some of you at VOICE in Vegas!

Welcome to the Jungle Gym, Lisa. It's a fun, informative, friendly, tip-filled place with lots of grown kids throwing stuff around.
Judging by your site, we have another winner among us. I particularly applaud your obvious efforts to move away from a radioish sound towards a more balanced voiceover one. Your tone is mature and lush, a slight departure from some of the other talented women here.
I especially liked your Documentary demo. Real nice job.

Welcome Lisa. Good luck with the studio. I love Seattle! If I didn't like New England so much, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
Have you heard of the comedy group Bald Face Lie out there? Couple of my buddies started that up.

I'm on the earlier flight, but definitely have to meet up. Finally a few of us members in the Seattle area, maybe we could get something going to meet up once a month for practice and support, If your game let me know. |
