Hi everyone... I've lurked and dropped a couple of items into the forum since it appeared, but mostly soaking up the love... and little gems of information.
I'm a North American, based in Sydney, Australia. Been doing voicework for about 25 years...
But as an ethnic here, voice work is pretty limited, but existent. I've been lucky enough to do national stuff here over the years, and a bit for over there... However, there's a lot more American voices available here than when I started in the game, and there's a lot more use of US ads, etc. here (complete with voice). So dipping my toes in over there.
However, it's probably hard to categorize my voice... I've done a bit of everything, but I think to make a mark, I've got to focus... but on what??
Anyway, that's my little story... hope to communicate more if you'll have me.

Welcome to the shark tank, Sir.
Aside from having a wonderful first name, your site page bespeaks a welcome professionalism.
Your niche, to me, is exactly what you so well display there...TV trailers and imaging. The vivacity in your voice might also lend itself well to upbeat ads and event announcements.
I'd be curious to hear you read longer, more interpretative pieces and hope to hear you do so at Demo of the Day.
Meanwhile, fire up the barbie and raise a Foster's...

Thanks, friends, and Robert, appreciate your feedback, and I'll bung something on the barbie that is The Demo of The Day.
However, I have no real presence there at the moment. Guess an agent is the first step...
I'm so used to getting the brief in the studio, you know 'find out what the people want, and give them lots of it'-approach. Same here at Voice123, but a difference is the immediacy of the studio. So maybe those contributing to the Demo of the Day with comments can be our 'surrogate' producers! It's great therapy.
Robert: must give you a lesson in Australian beer one day.... just got to first get rid of these crocs loitering on the driveway. 
As for being in Sydney, Sue... well, you couldn't find a nicer place to be... except for the politicians... I'm presently looking out at the bridge and harbour (bridge celebrates 75th birthday bash later this month)...about 79 expected today... ho hum... Just another shitty day in paradise...
I'm looking forward to throwing my two cents worth in voiceoversavvy...
